Preschool and Daycare Music Classes with Katie

Along with her family music classes, Katie visits PJ Kids Preschool, Dundarave by the Sea, West Van Child Development Centre and Treehouse Preschool weekly to share her music. Children love Katie's energy, big heart and goofy nature! Katie is a natural at teaching songs in a way that is very accessible for little ones. Katie brings her guitar, small musical instruments, scarves, puppets and storybooks to keep the children entranced and engaged. Fun is had each week as they all sing, laugh and dance the session away!

Rates:

Weekly one hour visit: $100.00

Weekly half an hour visit: $75.00

Special Event Preschool or Daycare Show: $200.00 for a 45 minute set

Community Events and Library Shows

You may have seen Katie over the years performing at the West Van Memorial Library Rooftop or sharing some fun and spooky tunes at the Mt. Pleasant "Halloween Event"'. She has also been spotted as a roving ukulele playing elf who belts out holiday tunes to delight children of all ages at the "Peak of Christmas” at Grouse Mountain. Favourite past performances have included or entertaining the crowd at “Performance in the Park” at the Douglas Park Community Centre and performing her tunes for the "Summer Reading Wrap Up" party in Queen's Park in New West. Katie has had her share of experience performing at various community events around town.

Depending on the location, type of event and length of the set or sets, Katie's rates range from $375 - $600.

Starting Kindergarten in a brand new school is a BIG DEAL for kids (and parents)! Katie’s “Ready Set Learn” show and “Welcome To Kindergarten” singalongs help make a child’s first experience in a new school fun and positive.

Katie has performed at a number of elementary schools in Vancouver over the years. Her set includes many call and response songs, action songs and she also takes suggestions from the children about what to sing about in order to keep the engagement level high and the children actively participating.

Her interactive set has received rave reviews from teachers, parents and children who have taken part.
